2020 - present

2020 saw a change in direction with my work that has continued to the present.
It was a quiet reflective time for many, (unless you worked in the NHS) and the sculptures reflect this. Forms are more simple and unglazed.  I used gold leaf to highlight the eyes and other areas.
Outdoor pieces are finished with a stone sealant and sit on oak plinths with a metal base.
There is also a nod here to Constantin Brancusi whose work I really admire.
